OUR STORY

The origins of Meyerhoff Natural Products are rooted in a lifelong connection to nature, authenticity, and quality.

Riccardo Meyerhoff, a committed vegetarian and vegan, descendant of an aristocratic German family, was born in 1950 in the far North of Germany, in a small town surrounded by forests and unspoiled fields. Here, local farmers cultivated grains and vegetables naturally and sustainably, using only the manure from their own stables.

Since childhood, his family received bread, honey, eggs, fruit and vegetables directly from these farmers—authentic, simple foods rich in natural nutritional value.


In 1970, Riccardo moved to his second homeland, Italy, continuing to choose genuine foods from small producers in Piedmont and Lombardy.

Over the following fifty years, he travelled across four continents, exploring cultures and cuisines, always selecting the most authentic and high-quality restaurants.


Upon returning permanently to Italy, he observed with concern the growing spread of low-quality, industrial foods and beverages, often compensated by equally artificial supplements.

From this awareness came his decision: to offer only 100% natural, sustainable and truly nourishing foods, bringing back the purity of the land, the quality of raw ingredients and the respect for tradition.
